words in movies
(Dramatic music plays and Joey does a little Smell-the-fart acting.)
Phoebe: Thats fair! Thank you so much. Thanks. Oops, it looks like when he got the pastry chef he got you a little bit too.
Rachel: Oh! Oh, I think Im gonna throw up a little bit. What did you say?
Rachel: Hey, what do you think is a better excuse for why Im not drinking on this date tonight. "Umm, Im a recovering alcoholic. Im a Mormon," or "I got so hammered last night Im still a little drunk?"
Ross: Why no, its the opposite of weird. Its-its uh, regular. Its-its uh, its mundane. Its actually uh, a little dull.
Ross: Its just I always thought when I had another kid it would be different. Now I-I love Ben, but every time I have to drop him off at Carol and Susans, its likeIt breaks my heart a little. I mean Ive always had this picture of me and my next wife in bed on Sunday and, my kid comes running in and leaps up onto the bed. And we all read the paper together. Yknow? Maybe fight over the science section.
Joey: Thats okay Ross maybe you need a new picture. Okay? Its not gonna be what you thought, but no matter what theres gonna be a brand new little baby, your baby. Who cares what the picture looks like?
Tim: Wow! Umm, okay. Umm (To Phoebe) I-I-I realize I came on a little strong but, its only because I think youre so amazing. (To Monica) And uh, I-I just wanna, I just wanna tell you how much I appreciate you giving me an opportunity here because Iyoure the most talented chef Ive ever worked for. Anyway (Starts to leave and Phoebe and Monica trade looks.)
Ross: Hey, wanna wanna a little cheering up?
Rachel: Oh, oh, and hey-hey-hey, those little spelling tips will come in handy when youre at home on Saturday nights playing Scrabble with Monica!!
Monica: Okay, I freaked out a little.
Joey: Okay, and ah, this one here is a Douglas Fir, now its a little more money, but you get a nicer smell.
Waiter: Eh, okay, the waiters have a little pool going. We have a bet on how long it'll take before you give up and go home.
Chandler: So uh, now that little Chandler turned out to be a girl, what are they gonna name her?
Rachel: No! So I can be by myself. Y'know? Have a little alone time.
Ross: Hey, you only heard Monicas side of that. That little fatso was a terror.
Janice: All right, fine, fine, fine, fine, fine, we've got to do something about our little situation here Joey. So, this is my idea: you and me spending some quality time together.
Ross: And she's just so sexy and funny and has the cutest little
Jill: Oh no-no-no, hes just I dont know, hes just a little bookish.
Rachel: Okay, just a little scared. What's going on Ross?
Monica: No. It was painful. Oh my God , they should call it Pain-zine, now with a little wax.
(She looks at Ross, a bit ashamed. Chandler mimes "big breasts" to Ross and lip syncs "Wow". Ross looks at him, astonished and then Monica looks at Chandler again. A little too late he changes the "big breasts" mime into "rocking a baby". When he realizes Monica might have seen it he also strokes his imaginary baby's head.)
Ross: (To Chandler) You dont think its a little crazy that you get all my points just cause you
Joey: Uhh, my stunt double. Yeah, and y'know, he's getting a little too familiar for my tastes.
Rachel: She is so cute! You could fit her right in your little pocket!
Chandler: Okay, a little problem. The key broke in the lock and I cant get in!
ROSS: I'm here. How's my little boy? Want Daddy to change your diaper? So, did you have fun with Uncle Joey and Uncle Chandler today?
(Time lapse, Chandler is finishing his third little bottle of booze.)
JANITOR: Word on the street - well, when I say street, I mean those little pretend streets they have here at the zoo.
Rachel: No, just singing. (Does a little song.)
Rachel: Well, were a little early, the lecture doesnt end for 15 minutes.
Rachel: Hey Mon, little question for ya! How do you think this suit will look on an assistant buyer?
Joey: Well he actually saw you a little bit too.
Meg: Okay now I wouldnt date you because you seem a little creepy.
Alice: No-no-no, no, its going to be fine. Because umm, because I teach Home Ec, and uh, I can have 30 kids making baby clothes all year long. Yknow itll-itll be like my very own little sweatshop.
Rachel: Well, y'know, a little of this, a little of that. Got myself a date tomorrow night.
Rachel: Oh, little Xs! Great! That makes up for everything!
Monica: When I take a shower, she leaves me little notes on the mirror.
Joey: No, it's just ah, I care so damn much about little Ben that uh, it was more important to see him succeed.
CHANDLER: Yes. Hey, can I ask you, is Eddie a little...
MONICA: You know what, maybe I don't need to have children. You know maybe I just think I do because that is what society, and by that I mean my mom, has always convinced me that I...(sees two little girls dancing together) I do, I have to have children, I'm sorry, I just do.
Joey: No, God, no! No! No no, I'm an actor. You'd probably recognize me from a little show called "The Days of Our Lives".
Monica: Nope, sound like me. Pheebs, its going great. Look at Chandler with little baby girl Chandler.
Joey: Oh, little party favours, check it out! (Its a shirt that reads, "Ross Geller, Bachelor Bash 1998")
Monica: How she drove you crazy, picking on every little detail, like your hair... for example.
(Richard squishes a little too hard and some lands on his shirt.)
Monica: Phoebe! But I could take one of those little feet and put it in a pita pocket.
RACHEL: Now I'm mommy in this little play? Alright look, I refuse to get sucked into this like, weird little Geller dimension thing OK. So I'm gonna go and take a nice long hot bubble bath because you kids are driving me crazy. [goes in the bathroom]
Phoebe: Yes. Once. Yeah, a little. He kinda did it to himself. It's not really a good story.
Phoebe: Well, I-I thought a lot about what you said, and um, I realilized duh, all right maybe I was a little judgmental. Yeah, (looks at the tree) oh, but oh...
...My mother's ashes Even her eyelashes Are resting in a little yellow jar, And sometimes when it's breezy...
(As they start back down the couch drops a little bit and gets jammed. They try to free it to no avail.)
Chandler: I can blow dry it. I can put gel on it. It doesnt matter, I still wind up with this little (pats the flat spot on the back of his head) cowlicky thing on the middle part of my head. Its so annoying. Does it bug you?
Monica: I dont know! I dontmaybe youre feeling a little resentful. Maybe ah, maybe you thought youd get married first! Maybe you cant stand the fact that your formally fat friend is getting married before you!
Ross: Besides, I-I think I figured out a much faster route, Im sure I can make it this time. I just I just cant be afraid to get a little bit hit by cars. (He goes to the bathroom as Joey enters.)
Rachel: But can it... just... happen a little bit?
Monica: And the musicians, look, they can go over here (Points to a little alcove), okay? And the chairs can face this way (Points), and (Points to Ross) You go.
Alice: Oh no-no, never say that. If we cant get it out then we can cut around the stain, add a little lace, you make a stylish throw.
Chandler: Say, Joe, I had a strange idea of what we could do for our last night. What do you say we play a little uh, foosball for money?
Rachel: I know, I know. I went a little crazy.
Phoebe: Well, yeah. Y'know, we were best friends, ever since we were little, our Moms worked on the barge together.
Ross: (to the guard) Dont sweat it, Ive got this section covered. Yeah, in fact Ive got this little baby (Turns on a mini-flashlight) to shine in peoples eye(The guard walks away)Okay, see you later.
Rachel: Here, kitty-kitty. Here kitty-kitty. Where did you go, little kitty-kitty-kitty? Here kitty-kitty-kitty-kitty...
Phoebe: I know! (Phoebe picks up a little packet of sugar, shakes it, and then realises she can't open it with one hand, but doesn't want to let go of Mike's hand. She tries to tear open the packet with one hand.)
CHAN: Didn't you used to call it the Little Major?
Phoebe: Oh, look at little Leslie stretching in her sleep.
Monica: My boots in tan! Hey! Can you get a little closer so I can see the price?
Janine: Well, Im sorry. I just thought Id try to make the place a little nicer.
Ross: A little. Yeah. I made a snack.
Rachel: So honey, what are you gonna do about the little girl?
Ross: Just a sandwich. Turkey, a little mustard
(Ross screams like a little girl.)
Ross: I just wanna say good-bye to you guys and to see if you guys will place a little bet for me, huh? Twenty bucks on black 15.
Ross: Oh, why dont you make her one of your little jokes.
(She picks up the box and the bottom falls out, spilling all of the pictures onto Monica's neat little piles.)
Phoebe: Oh my God! (Starts reading them.) Dizziness, nervousness, drowsiness, facial swelling, nausea, headacheHeadache. Vomiting, stomach bleeding, liver damage! Now okay, I dont recall any of this coming up when you gave me these little death capsules! Oh Im sorry, extra strength death capsules!
Monica: Well thats a little crazy. Although I am yknow glad to hear that youre branching out on what you look at on the Internet.
Joey: All right, so well get a little coffee, and get energized, and well head back out.
Phoebe: Fine. The reason that I was leaning a little bit more toward Rachel than you is just that youre just kinda high maintenanceOkay lets go to lunch!
Fat Joey: Whats my little chef got for me tonight?
Rachel: Oh, look at the little cat! [a small kitten is on the roof behind Ross] Look at it!
Fat Joey: Thanks sweetheart. Give me a little sugar here. (They kiss.) Okay.
Ross: Yeah. Right. Save it. I can do that. (Gets up and does a little kara-tay.)
Monica: Oh, um, around 8:02. We ah, talked for a little while, and then um, we went out for an innocent burger.
Charlie: So, you know... I have a little time. If you... if you want to...
Ross: A little? Your place looks like page 72 of the catalogue. Oh look at that! The ornamental bird cage! Large!
Joey: (smiling) I don't know. This little, old lady lives for my career. When they dumped me off of Days of Our Lives she almost died.
Janice: Hello, Joey, our little matchmaker. I could just kiss you all over, and I'm gonna!
Phoebe: well there is no Vicrum, Ross made him up because I never really have been in a long-term relationship, I've never lived with a guy, and I've never even celebrated an anniversary so. (Pause) if that's too weird for you and you wanna leave I totally understand. In fact I'll close my eye's make it less awkward (She sits with her eyes closed and Mike kisses her, Phoebe opens her eyes and like a little child says.) You kissed me.
Ross: Hey Im sorry to do this to you again but uh, is there any way you can look after Ben for a little bit? I-Ive got this meeting at school. And-and he-he asked for his uh, Fun Aunt Rachel, so
Phoebe-Estelle: It’s a little coincidental, but believable. (Joey nods in agreement). Listen, I’m sure you’re wondering why I didn’t get you an audition for that TV movie.
Phoebe: Oh, did the little rich boy have a problem with the butler? Yes, mine's worse!
Rachel: Id love that. I would loooove (Carol goes to make the coffee and she sits down.) So uh, so where is sweet little Ben? I would love to have a little...
Chandler: Yeah, well, sorry doesnt bring back the little piggy that cried all the way home! I hate this stupid day! And everything about it! I'll see you later.
Ross: A little bit.
Chandler: Wait a minute, is she going for spring vacation or is she going for spring break? (Does a little whooping/party noise.)
Paul: Whats the matter honey? Did you see a little mouse?
Rachel: (deals new hand) Boy, you really can't stand to lose, can you? Your whole face is getting red... little veins popping out on your temple...
Paul: Ross. You and I are going to have to have a little talk.
Monica: Feeling a little better sweetie?
Rachel: Yeah. Oh I just wish we could not be married for a little bit! Yknow I just wish we could be like on a break!
Rachel: Well, it was a little extravagant, but I a pretty good deal.
Monica: Okay, look at this one. This is my favourite. (Its a little pink and white dress for the girl baby.)
Rachel: Well-well a little blind sided but yknow good.
Ross: Yeah, I was but uh, she was a little busy with a water balloon fight.
Dr. Green: Ooh, I have a little heart attack.
Phoebe: Yeah! Yeah! Convince her that-that youre scared of commitment! Convince her that youre a little coward!
Mrs. Geller: Can we talk to you for just a yknow Its just a little thing. Well we think its absolutely marvelous that youre having this baby out of wedlock, some of our friends are less open-minded. Which is why weve told them all that youre married.
Joey: Absolutely! Halloween is the worst. Except for Christmas and their birthdays. Kinda get a little crazy during the summer too. And anytime theyre hungry or sleepy. Yknow, kids are tough. Good luck with that. (Walks away.)
