words in movies
MONICA: Oh I was just doing Chandler's side of the conversation. You know, like, "Hi, How do I look?" (As Chandler) "Really sexy. Could I BE any more turned on?"
[Scene: Ross and Rachel's apartment. Three pizza crusts, two bottle caps and the plastic tripod are left in the otherwise empty pizza box. Mike is making hollow popping noises with his mouth. He begins to speak, but stops and pops his lips a few more times and takes a drink. Ross smiles as if he has thought of something to say, but then he stops and sinks back in a slump on the sofa.]
RACHEL: (as Ross) "Yeah. That works for me." (Clears throat twice more.)
MIKE: (Entering the apartment) I, I was just thinking about how much more we have to talk about.
Ross: Uh sweetie, maybe youd be more comfortable here? (Gets up from the green armchair.)
Chandler: Definitely roses. (Monica and Rachel exchange a look.) Well, I just think theyre a little more weddingy. (Monica holds the Lily picture closer to him.) But Lilies are the clear choice.
Monica: Hello? (Listens) Uh-huh. (Listens) Uh-huh. (Listens) Okay. (Hangs up.) I guess we can bet one more time.
Joey: Hey and look he brought flowers. Thanks Ross, but Im really more of a candy guy. (Laughs.)
Chandler: Yeah, we talked and Monica made me see that I over reacted a little bit and some things in life are more important.
Chandler: Are you serious?! I mean like eloping?! No more stupid wedding stuff?! No more these flowers or these flowers or these flowersThink of the money well save!! (Monica just looks at him.) Were not eloping. I love the flowers. Can our wedding be bigger please?
Monica: Spend more time with the tie. Thatll make a baby.
David: Wow, you look even... more beautiful than you did yesterday.
Phoebe: Ive never been more convinced of your love for her.
Joey: Me too, but I guess I do have a couple of more(his time runs out for real)
Ross: Here come some more...
{Transcribers note: This is where the opening credits are, but theyre not the usual opening credits. Oh no! These credits are based on the world that would have been created had all of the above actually happened. It starts out with all of them at the fountain sitting on the couch as Fat Monica runs up and sits on the arm of the couch, tilting the whole thing towards her. It then goes on to show Rachels still a shop-aholic and with Barry. Fat Monica is sweating while cooking and dancing while eating a donut. Phoebe as the Wall Street shark smoking while on two cell phones. Then theyre dancing in the fountain. Joey entering as Dr. Drake Remoray and meeting a groupie. Chandler trying to write as a bird does its business on his shoulder and falling asleep while typing. Ross doing some kara-tay and trying to get Carol into bed. And finally, some more dancing in the fountain, them all flexing, and the turning out the lamp and shutting off all the lights bit from the first season. Just remember one thing, this is an alternate universe. Everything from every other episode doesnt apply, for instance, Ross and Rachel have no history. And in fact have not seen each other in years in this world.}
ROB: The thing is, I think some of the parents, they were kinda hopin' that you'd play more songs about like, barnyard animals.
Ross: Look, it was accident! Okay? I-I feel bad that it happened, but I swear, I didnt even watch it! Anyway, here. (He takes the tape out of his coat pocket.) I thought you might be more comfortable destroying it yourself. (Tosses her the tape.)
MONICA: Is there any chance that you can look at this as flattering? I mean, she's doing it because she wants to be more like you.
(More awkward silence.)
(Chandler hands Phoebe an envelope, and some more to Monica)
Ross: Thats impossible! I mean we have had a deal for years! We-we-we shook on it, although believe me she wanted to do a lot more than that.
Mike: Yeah - not such a problem with rats. No, they're more of a "love the one you're with" kind of animals.
Ross: Yeah y'know what? Maybe-maybe you didn't mess up your audition because you suck, maybe you messed up because you care more about uh, your godson.
Ross: Yeah, I guess I should. (Starts to leave.) Man, yknow what I have to realize? Maybe Im just not the type of guy women can have just one night with. Yknow, they-they always seem to want a little bit more. I should remember that. (He pauses and then exits.)
Monica: (looks at it more closely) Oh that's an eye removal machine.
Elizabeth: For what its worth I did appreciate you standing up for me. It felt really nice. It kinda made me like you even more.
Rachel: Im more than okay, I am really, really happy! Wanna know why?
Chandler: You may wanna get some more of those too.
Rachel: Hmm. Look, Ross, if you want your neighbors to like you, why don't you just pay the hundred bucks? The party's gonna cost you way more than that.
Joey: Come on, please, it'll be just this one more, well actually it's two.
Phoebe: (pause) Ok, say no more.
Ross: Yeah and we'd want to make sure Emma has someone like Monica who is more uh. uh discliplinarin.. someone who can be firm and strict.
Ross: (blows it) Sorry. Cause umm, I think this will make you a little more sophisticated.
Chandler: (To Monica) Wow! Listen, we had a good run. What was it? Four? Five months? I mean, that's more than most people have in a lifetime! So, good-bye, take care, bye-bye then! (He kisses her and starts to climb out the balcony window.)
Phoebe: Youre right. Youre right, hes just embracing life. We could all stand to be a little more like Parker. You know what? I am like him! Im a sunny, positive person.
Ross: Marcel, c'mere, c'mere. (He sits down and Marcel jumps down and sits beside him) Well buddy, this is it. There's just a coupla things I want to say. I'm really gonna miss you, and I'm never gonna forget about you. You've been more than just a pet to me, you've been more like a be- (Marcel climbs down and starts humping his leg) Okay, Marcel, please, could you leave my leg alone? Could you just stop humping me for two seconds?! Marcel, would- okay, just take him away. Just take him.
Rachel: No Phoebe! You cannot get the phone that way; thats not fair! Okay look, I have an idea. Why dont we, why dont we see what kind of number he has on his speed dial, and then from that we can tell who has more in common with him. And then whoever does gets the phone.
Rachel: Well, umm, I guess I read Little Women more than once. But I mean thats a classic, whats so great about The Shining?
Rachel: You wanna go in the bedroom? Its a little more comfortable.
Phoebe: No, what's more important, your friends or money?
Rachel: Why-why aren't you more excited?
Dedicated to the great work of Eric Aasen, Guineapig and many, many more
Chandler: Honey, isnt it possible that the company that sold the jeans made more than just the one pair?
Rachel: Okay, you go do it! Ill come back to that set! Ill meet more actors! Ill meet em all!
Chandler: And I also got... two more apples.
Monica: Thats it. Im done. I dont care when the baby comes, no more betting.
Ross: I'm gonna get some more coffee.
Phoebe: Y'know you guys were a lot more supportive when I wanted to make denim furniture.
Monica: No, I have just to have two more points to beat him!
Joeys Grandmother: More of Grandmas teramisu.
Chandler: So do you think uh, Joeys more charming than me?
Mike: Wanna make it more interesting?
Joey: You really should have been more clear about that!
Charlie: You're married more than once?
Joey: Look at me! I'm Chandler! Could I be wearing any more clothes? Maybe if I wasn't going commando...
Joey: Well Ross, it seems pretty clear. I mean whats more important? What people think or how you feel, huh? Ross, you gotta follow your heart.
Ross: Oh! (She kisses him) Ah. (They kiss more, and move down onto the couch. Ross's hand moves under some garbage) Aw! (His hand is covered with something brown and gooey.)
[Scene: Ben's audition, Carol, Ross, and Ben along with about 10 more families are in a waiting room as Joey enters happily.]
Phoebe: Okay, now would you say that thats more than 50 yards away from Sting, his wife, or a member of his family?
Ross: Well yeah-yeah the Scottish history is so much more
Hotel Clerk: I think you'll find this room more to your liking.
Joey: More back talk. And yes, I may be borrowing a few lines from my recent unsuccessful audition for "Family Honor 2: Thissa Time Itsa Personal."
Chandler: Just so I know, how many more of those can I expect?
Joey: More foosball?
Joey: 'Cause we will appreciate it more when she’s gone?
Monica: Alright, 5 more minutes.
Assistant: You got two more twos?
Ross: Mine stole my newspaper! Its like a crime wave!! (Monica runs to make more candy.) Pheebs, you uh, you got a second.
Ross: One more fight!
Ross: (pointing at Amy, shouting) No more falafel for you!
Joey: You mean how they're friends and nothing more? (Glares at Rachel.)
Phoebe: I love you more!
Mike: One more thing... There... might be a picture of Precious on my coffee table.
Ross: Hey, I have a question. Well, actually, it's not so much a question as.. more of a general wondering... ment.
Rachel: (more confident) Ok...
Chandler: Tell me more.
(Ross leans in and kisses her. They both look at each other for a moment, and then embrace in a more passionate kiss, only to be interrupted by Joey and Chandler coming outside.)
Phoebe: You guys! You guys! You don't have to fight over her anymore. (she goes out into the hallway and enters with an even more hideous painting/collage. One of those faceles mannequins heads wearing a blueish dress and orange gloves reaching out into the room. Around the head 3 small dolls are hovering.) Whoever doesn't get Gladys gets Glynnis. (Rachel and Monica are gasping for air at the sight of this monstrous piece of art.)
Rachel: Yeah, Rachel. And this (points to Monica) is Ross' sister, Monica. We met at Thanksgiving. (looks around the room as if searching for something more interesting to do).
Joey: You know, I'm really sorry I wasn't more supportive before.
Melissa: Well, weve been flirting back and forth, but I was hoping that tonight it would turn into something a little more than that.
David: (Stands up and speaks more loudly) Sorry, I wa- I was just saying to my friend that I thought you were the most beautiful woman that I'd ever seen in my- in my life. And then he said that- you said you thought
Joey: A little more.
Ross: Wow! This is so amazing. I uh, I really thought Id have to talk you into this more.
Ross: (even more shocked) Wha..? I need 6 graduate students.
Monica: Olivia? I thought she was marrying Connor! (pause) Oh right, real life more important.
Rachel: Ralph Lauren called again and they offered me more money.
Joey: All right, all right, all right, let's play one more time, ok? And remember, if I win you do not move to Paris.
Mike: No more so than acting.
Joey: Strike three! You only get one more, Mike!
Phoebe: More than I wanna get married.
Joey: Yeah? I just figured yknow, after living with you itd be an interesting change of pace to have a female roommate, yknow? Someone I can learn from, someone-someone whos different than me. And whats more different than me; a guy whos not 19 than say a girl who is 19? Enh? (Points to his head.) Not just a hat rack my friend!
Rachel: (after a pause) Not even one more time?
Ross: Okay, hey, that's okay with me. Two down and I have exactly twelve minutes.... Wha, my watch stopped. My watch. (shows Chandler) Okay, see, the, the dinosaur tail isn't going around any more. (grabs Chandler's watch) What time is it? It's 7:33, I have seven minutes. I have seven minutes!!
Amanda: (announces more to herself than anyone else) Wow, my flat is twice this size!
Chandler: That would be a lot more convincing if you weren't drooling.
Monica: It's just a little bit more, honey.
Elizabeth: Oh. Well, so we have to hide our relationship from one more person. Big deal. Besides, its kinda fun hiding.
Monica: Why not! This is her wedding day, this is way more important than some stupid kids!
Chandler: Yeah. It's a shame you two didn't get to spend more time together.
Rachel: Well, I do, but you're just gonna have to actually look at this as more of an investment than a cat.
Ross: Well, if whats in the bottle is actually 30. I mean sometimes you get 30, sometimes its-its get 4, and I swear to God more often than not its just milk.
Joey: Look at me! I'm Chandler! Could I be wearing any more clothes? Maybe if I wasn't going commando...
