words in movies
JOEY: Yeah, my agent just called me with an audition for Days of Our Lives!
Joey: (on phone) Uh huh.. uh huh... oh my God! Okay! Okay, I'll be there! (He hangs up and to all.) That was my agent. (He tosses and catches the phone.) My agent has just gotten me a job...in the new Al Pacino movie!
CHANDLER: Do you have to be a Century 21 real-estate agent to get to wear those really cool jackets?
Joey: No, still too ethnic. My agent thinks I should have a name that's more neutral.
Phoebe: Well, I think that shirt makes you look like you should work at a Baskin Robbins... Anyway... Hey, isn't Joey's agent Estelle Leonard?
Rachel: All right, you know what? I am not leaving here, until you call that plane back!! (She pounds her hand on the counter twice. The ticket agent counters by placing the closed sign on the counter and tapping it twice.)
Joey: Thank you all for coming. We're here today to pay respects to a wonderful agent and a beautiful woman... (Joey looks at the photograph) ..inside. As Estelle's only two clients we would like to say a few words. (Joey looks for his notes. The man next to him is chewing something.) Dude, where's my speech? (the man swallows something and looks at Joey.) That is entertaining. Al Zebooker everybody. (he applauds and Al shows that there's nothing left in his mouth.)
CHANDLER: Hey, what did your agent say?
Joey: Well, I'm doing this telethon thing on TV and my agent got me a job as co-host!
Ticket agent: And the destination?
Joey: Maybe you can tell me. My agent would like to know why I didn't show up at the audition I didn't know I had today. The first good thing she gets me in weeks. How could you not give me the message?!
Joey: Wait a minute, did you just make up all that stuff just to get out of being my agent.
Joey: Ahhh! My ah, my agent said it wasn't a dancing part.
Ticket Agent: (Cheerfully.) Hello.
Joey: Yeah, well don't get me wrong, you're a better agent than she is, but at least with her I don't want to blow my pretty dumb brains out.
[cut to Joey as Estelle, Joeys agent, approaches]
Chandler: Okay. Then I guess its just, wait here then. (Hands her the sign that says, Wait Here.") (To the ticket agent) Hi. I need one fake ticket to Yemen.
Joey: Hey you guys, this is my agent, Estelle.

Ticket Agent: The last minute fare on this ticket is twenty seven hundred dollars.
Ticket Agent: This is the final boarding call for Flight 009.

Ticket Agent: And I do have one seat left.
Ticket Agent: (looking at her computer terminal) Theres one leaving in thirty minutes.
Ticket Agent: Well you can split it with another credit card.
Ticket Agent: I cant do that.
Ticket Agent: Hello.

The Casting Director: Oh and your agent said you were okay with the nudity.
Joey: I just have to call my agent and tell her I cant do the part. (Gets up for the phone.)

Gate Agent: (On the P.A.) This is the last call for Flight 1066 to Athens. The last call.
Joey: I’m just mad at my agent.
Joey: Look, my agent hooked me up with six tickets to a great play.
Phoebe: Yeah, she was just an agent.
Joey: No, no, look. All I’m saying is that you’re my agent, ok? And you’re not getting me into any auditions and I’m tired of it.
Chandler: (Picks up the "Miss Congeniality" DVD) She's an FBI agent, posing as a beauty contestant.
Joey: I don’t know. She’s got to be taking it hard, I was like her only client. Except for this guy who eats paper. And I’m guessing he eats more money than he makes. Look, I know she’s not a great agent, but she did stick with me for ten years. I’m gonna call her and hire her again.
Joey: No! No, no you can't quit! You're the best agent I ever had! Look Pheebs, rejection is part being an actor, you can't take it personally.
Ticket Agent: Im afraid Im going to have to ask you to step aside, Miss.
