MRS GREEN: [laughing] You have some life here, sweetie.
[Since they're alone they start kissing and Ross's hands work their way down until they're on Rachel's butt. Rachel starts laughing.]
Ross: This is fun. Hey Rach, remember that whole "We were on a break thing?" Well, I'm sorry, will you marry me? (Laughs--whines as he sees that no one is laughing. They're just staring at him in shock.)

(Chandler enters, sees Rachel in the dress and starts laughing)

RACHEL: (after a pause with everyone staring at her, she goes up to the microphone) Ya, know what Barr, I'm not gonna leave. I probably should, but I'm not, see 'cause I promised myself that I would make it through at least *one* of your weddings (da-doom-chesh). See now, tonight, all I really wanted was to make it though this evening with a little bit of grace and dignity. Well (laughing), I guess we can all agree that's not gonna happen. (A guy at the end of the table starts laughing.)
Chandler: Man, I gotta get a kid. (looks at the pen and starts laughing)
(Rachel starts laughing.)

(They both start laughing. They look at each other, stop and step apart a little bit.)

(Ross wakes up with a start and startles Rachel. The guy next to him starts laughing, which starts Ross laughing, Rachel gives him a look and he stops.)
Monica: Well, you guys have been friends forever. Remember the first time that you kissed Ross? How weird that was? You couldn't stop laughing? You got through that.
Monica: Then why are you laughing?
Rachel: (laughing) What was that?
Rachel: (laughing) Ohh, that is soo sad.

Phoebe: What? (the guys keep laughing.) What? You guys, what is going on? You not like Robert? (the guys keep laughing.) Why are you laughing?!
Chandler: You got a man who's a nanny...? You got a manny...? (Monica starts laughing, but very exaggerated. Joey realises they also should laugh and punches Ross. Now all three of them laugh, but very fake. Chandler seems happy again.)
(Robert walks away and the guys all start laughing in front of Phoebe.)
Rachel: Oh. (we hear laughing from the upstairs apartment) Oh my God, is that Phoebe?
Chandler: (laughing) You did look like an idiot.
Monica: I was laughing. (Patting him on the knee.)
Ross: Why are you laughing?
(The door opens, and there is Gladys, still in her frame though. Joey panics and moves frantically, screaming. Then there is laughing, and the painting is lowered. It was Rachel holding Gladys.)
(Rachel starts laughing hysterically.)
Ross: Unreasonable? How about we have this conversation when one of you guys gets married! You have no idea what it takes to make a marriage work! All right, it's about compromise! (Joey hugs Rosss neck and has a look of complete contentment on his face which, after a short while, causes David and Matt to start laughing.)
(They all start laughing, and quickly stop when they realize what she just said and run over to the bathroom.)

[Scene: Central Perk, continued from earlier. Rachel starts laughing.]

Chandler: (singing) The sunll come out tomorrow! Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow (The girls start laughing, and in a deep voice) therell be sun.
Monica: (gasps) Ohh, wow! Thats great! (Rachel and Monica hug.) Oh wow! We really have to start planning! I have, I have a lot of really specific ideas! We should probably get together like four times per week. You can come over to my place; well get together before work! What do you say, 6:30, my place? Im so excited! (Runs out leaving Rachel completely stunned and Phoebe laughing.)
(Joey busts out laughing.)
Rachel: (laughing) Close call day.
(A young boy sees Rachel, points, and starts laughing.)

Ross: (stops laughing) What am I doing?

(Joey and Kathy enter, laughing)

(Rachel is looking at the magazine and laughing.)
(Mr. Thompson looks shocked and at Rachel, she suddenly starts laughing.)

(After hes left, Rachel stops laughing and glares at Joey again.)
ROSS: I've no idea, could be. Listen, I'm sorry I had to work tonight. RACHEL: Oh it's OK. You were worth the wait, and I don't just mean tonight. [they kiss] ROSS: You're not laughing. RACHEL: This time it's not so funny. [They kiss and start undressing. As Rachel tries to pull off Ross's tie she catches it in his mouth. Then they roll across the fur rug.] RACHEL: Ah, oh God. Oh, honey, oh that's OK. ROSS: What. Oh no, you just rolled over the juice box. RACHEL: Oh, thank God. [Scene: Museum of Natural History. The next morning Rachel and Ross are sleeping in the display under a fur.] ROSS: Hi. RACHEL: Hi you. I can't believe I'm waking up next to you. ROSS: I know it is pretty unbelievaaaaah. RACHEL: What? ROSS: We're not alone. [A church youth group is outside the display watching them] CLOSING CREDITS [Scene: Chandler and Joey's apartment. (Jennifer starts laughing.)

Phoebe: Oh. (She starts laughing. Then she throws the badge at him and runs away.)
Rachel: Yeah! (She puts on her coat and turns around and sees Ross is expecting her to help.) (Laughing.) Are you kiddin'?
(Matt starts laughing.)
