Rachel: Shes totally right! When we were together, you got all freaked out about Mark and there was nothing going on.
Mark: (reaching through the flowers) Do you have the, the Ralph Lauren file?
Rachel: (on answering machine) Hi, its me. Ive been trying to reach you all night. I feel awful. Please, Ross, you gotta know there is nothing between me and Mark. This whole break-up thing is just stupid.
Ross: That guy Mark. From Bloomingdale's... She thinks he's just being nice to her. But I know he really wants to sleep with her.
Ross: Mark is that ah, the same Mark that helped you get the job?
Mark: I can't help it, I'm just, I'm just crazy about you.
(She sits down, and Mark leans over and kisses her. Rachel doesnt react. He tries it again, and Rachel jumps back quickly.)
Ross: (to Rachel) So, hes just a nice guy. You really think this Mark doesnt want anything in exchange for helping him?
Rachel: (looking at his mark) Yes.

Rachel: Ross! That's Mark. From Bloomingdales? You were insanely jealous of him.
Rachel: Y'know if what I do is so lame, then why did you insist on coming with me this morning? Huh? Was it so I just wouldnt go with Mark?
Rachel: I dont know, you thought See you Saturday was funny. Look honey, Mark is in fashion okay, I like having a friend that I can share this stuff with. You guys would never want to go to a lecture with me.
Rachel: But I dont, hmm... (on phone) Oh, who approved that order?! (listens) Well there is no Mark Robbinson in this office. (to Sophie) Get me Mark on the phone!
Monica: You would not believe my day! I had to work two shifts, and then to top it off, I lost one of my fake boobs, (opens her coat revealing a large burn mark over her left breast.) in a grill fire.
Rachel: Well, oh, Mark, Im doing this for the wrong reasons, y'know? Im just doing it to get back at Ross. Im sorry, its not very fair to you.
Rachel: Look, I know what's going on here, okay, Mark explained it all to me. He said this is what you guys do.
Mark: How've you been?
Joey: Nah, youre not tall enough to be a Mark, but you might make a good Barney.
Rachel: All right. Lets say I had slept with Mark. Would you have been able to forgive me?
(Mark, approaches from behind and recognizes her)
[Scene: Monica and Rachel's, Mark is there, opening Chinese food boxes.]
(She opens the door to reveal Ross with a pencil mark from his forehead to his chin.)
Ross: No, Im genuinely sorry the Mark thing didnt work out. Look, Rach, I want only good things for you.
Rachel: Oh well, the woman I interviewed with was pretty tough, but y'know thank God Mark coached me, because once I started talking about the fall line, she got all happy and wouldnt shut up.
Chandler: (entering) Okay. Okay. All right. Help! Am I a Mark, or a John?
Ross: A big idiot. Just you have to realize is, this whole Mark thing is kinda hard for me.
Rachel: Yeah, but its okay, because when Ross left Mark came over.
Joey: And before you know it, she's with him. And you'll be all, 'Ohh, man!' And he'll be all, 'Yes!' And us, we'll be like, 'Wh-whoa, dude.' And pretty soon you'll be like, (sadly) 'Hhiii,' and, and, and, 'I can't go, Rachel and Mark might be there.' And we'll be like, 'Man get over it, it's been four years!!'

Rachel: (on phone) Hello, Mark? Hi, its Rachel Green. (listens) Oh no, dont you apologize. (listens) Yeah, Ill hold. (to Monica and Ross) He left my number at work, but he was helping his niece with her report on the pioneers.
Carol: Look, I-I-I am sorry that Rachel dumped you cause she fell in love with that Mark guy, and you are the innocent victim in all of this, but dont punish your friends for what Rachel did to you.

Rachel: Yeah! His name is um, Mark something.

Mark: Are you sure, because we may have something at Louis Vuitton.
Rachel: Okay, swear you wont tell, but when Mark left he gave me a key to Joannas office. Do you wanna see the list?
