words in movies
Rachel: In the afternoon. Mr. Zelner came into my office after lunch. He put them on my desk, and then I put a Post-It on it (Looks down onto her desk and finds the folder with the Post-It on it that contains the contracts she imagined she gave Tag) that said, "Must go out today." So you just keep looking in there! All right?
Mr. Zelner: Here let me (He goes to wipe it off himself.)
Mr. Zelner: You wrote that you have a cute touchie?
Rachel: Okay look Mr. Zelner
Rachel: Okay. Uh, well can we, can we get you anything Mr. Zelner? Maybe some chocolates? (Holds up the box.)
Rachel: Yeah. It was the weirdest thing. Zelner called me and he said we'll do everything we can to get you back. And that I should thank some Ron... I don't even know what department that guy's in.
Mr. Zelner: Uh actually, Id like to speak with both of you.
Mr. Zelner: Y'know what? I may regret this but uh, I'm going to give you a shot.
Rachel: Zelner! Right! I knew that! I really, really want this job and I think, I think I would be really good at it.
Mr. Zelner: Oh I think its best that I speak first.
Mr. Zelner: It's really nice to see you again.
r Zelner: Who is it?
Mr Zelner: Ah, did she ask you to come here and do this?
Mr Zelner: (obviously amused) Not good, Ron.
Mr Zelner: Okay, you got it.
Mr Zelner: She is good!
Mr Zelner: Uh... What can I do for you?
(They start towards the door but are stopped when Mr. Zelner enters.)
Mr Zelner: You can really arrange that?
Mr Zelner: This is gonna make me very popular.
Mr Zelner: That’s great. I worry about little Ross. He’s always reading, he's collecting rocks and he’s obsessed with dinosaurs.
Mr Zelner: But I'm sorry. There's nothing I can do... Ah, it's not true, there is... nothing I want to do.
Mr. Zelner: Hello Rachel, you uh, got a minute?
Mr. Zelner: Well, Id be forced to file a report. Id have to consult with the legal department, and your future at the company would be in jeopardy.
Mr Zelner: (Takes a long look at the egg while he considers it) Wow, that's pretty cool (Takes the egg from Ross)
Mr. Zelner: Fair enough.
Ross: (picks up a skull of some carnivore from his side table and puts it in the same bag in which he brought the pterodactyl egg to Zelner) I'm sure he'll understand.
[Scene: Mr. Zelners Office, hes in a meeting as Joey bursts in.]
Rachel: Okay, I think we can get the evaluation back before they see it, but were gonna have to get into Mr. Zelners office. Now, he doesnt get in until 10, so hes no problem, but his assistant, Betty, she comes in early to eat her breakfast at her desk.
Mr Zelner: Oh right, uhm, Don?
Mr. Zelner: If I in any way implied that I wanted to buy your baby I am sorry. Okay? Last week when I asked you when your due date was uh, I certainly did not mean that I felt that I was due your baby. Yeah, I want to be very clear that I understand that its your baby, and it is not mine to purchase.
Rachel: But I already told Zelner that I would come back...
Mr. Zelner: May I help you?
Mr Zelner: (looks at Ross, for a long moment, confused) I meant with my son.
Ross: I see... Thanks very much. (he gets up and walks to the door. On his way out he looks at the photographs Mr Zelner has near his door. He picks one up.) Is this your son?
Mr Zelner: Wow, that is tempting.
Mr. Zelner: That's quite all right, but I feel obligated to tell you that this meeting is being videotaped.
Mr. Zelner: Yeah, its not like I dont have a sense of humor, huh? Hell, I even enjoy a naughty limerick now and then. But theres a time and a place, huh?! Unless you uh, have a limerick right now? (They both nod no.) No? Okay, well uh, youve (Grabs the chocolates.) got my fax number. (Exits.)
Mr Zelner: This may surprise you, but re-hiring fired employees, is not my main job.
Tag: (interrupting) Uh Mr. Zelner, Im the one who filled in that evaluation.
Mr Zelner: Yeah, they're all he talks about, why?
Mr. Zelner: Its kind of a risky joke Tag, and what is-what is this drawing I cant figure out what this is?
[Scene: Mr. Zelners Office, Rachel is knocking on the door.]
Rachel: (worried and shocked) Yeah, sure Mr. Zelner, for you anythingminute. Okay. Fine. (To Tag) Abort the plan, abort the plan. (She start to usher Tag out.)
Mr. Zelner: Umm, no. Thanks, but Ill give these to Betty. (Rachel glances at Tag to say, "See?") So I read your evaluation of Tag, or to use his full name, Tag Sweetcheeks Jones. Is something going on with you two?
Mr. Zelner: Please, come in. Have a seat. (She does so.)
Mr Zelner: Well, I guess having Rachel back wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.
Mr. Zelner: (Sees that she has some ink on her lip from her pen.) Oh Rachel, uhh (He points to his lip to get her to notice the ink on hers.)
Mr. Zelner: Yes!
Mr. Zelner: Hi Rachel!
Mr. Zelner: Zelner.
Mr. Zelner: Um-hmm.
Mr. Zelner: Just ah (He points again.)
Mr. Zelner: Ive asked Lee from human resources to be here as a witness to our conversation.
Mr Zelner: Yeah, his name is Ross. (Ross looks very surprised) What?
Mr. Zelner: Come on in.
