[Scene: Monica and Rachel's, the gang, minus Rachel, are getting ready for dinner.]
Rachel: Come on you guys! Listen, if Emily knew I was here having dinner you with you she would flip out and you know it. It's okay, I really I don't mind.
Joey: RACHEL PLEASE!!! JUST HAVE DINNER WITH US!!!
Ross: Hey! (Listens.) Yeah-yeah, we're just having dinner. (Listens.) Uh, yeah, sure uh hold on. (To the gang.) She wants to say hi. (To Emily) Hold on.
Carol: Y'know what, I want to talk to you about this so much, but we should probably do it when we could really get into it, are you free for dinner tomorrow night?
Ross: (going onto the patio) Look Emily, I'm just having dinner with my friends, okay?
Monica: So Chandler, I guess I'll see you at dinner.
[Scene: A restaurant, Phoebe and Larry are having dinner.]
Monica: Why don't you come over tonight? And I'll make you favorite dinner.
Larry: (entering) Hey, ready for dinner?
Cop: Okay, so since umm, you're not going to jail tonight I was wondering if you would like to go to dinner with me?
Monica: Well, instead of being sad that tonight is my last night together with Rachel we thought wed go out to dinner and celebrate the fact that Rachel is moving in with Phoebe.
Phoebe: Yeah, we'll talk at dinner.
Chandler: We just finished this magnificent Thanksgiving dinner. I have--and I remember this part vividly--a mouthful of pumpkin pie, and this is the moment my parents choose to tell me they're getting divorced.
Chandler: If we hadn't lost the game they never would've invented us to dinner tomorrow night.
Phoebe: What happened to the intimate dinner party?
Monica: Phoebe, do you want to go see a movie after dinner tonight?

[Scene: Rehearsal dinner hall. Ross and Emily are standing in the reception area. Monica arrives with her parents.]
Housekeeper: Miss Waltham, is at the rehearsal dinner and its not polite to make fun of people. Goodbye.
[Scene: A nightclub, Chandler is having dinner with Kathy and Joey.]
Chandler: Hes at a dinner party.

[Time lapse. The gang is sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner. Chandler is at the head of the table, Mr and Mrs Geller are to his right. Joey and Ross are to his left. Monica is serving things. Phoebe is in the living room and Rachel is at the sink.]
Monica: The dinner will be ready in twenty minutes. This is so exciting.
Monica: Joey! Why is Janine not coming over for dinner?!
Monica: I will! But not tonight. For dinner music, I thought we could listen to that tape you made me.
Monica: Honey! Dinners ready!
[Scene: A Restaurant, Chandler is having dinner with Dana.]
Joey: Yeah, you've been avoiding her ever since we started going out. Look, I made an effort to like Janice, now I think it's your turn to make an effort to like Kathy by going out to dinner with us. Right?
Monica: So, you wore your nightie to dinner?
Ross: Umm, say youre gonna be starving after all this moving. What do you say I take you to dinner tonight?
[Scene: Ross's apartment. After dinner. Chandler enters.]
Monica: What? I-I bought groceries, I was gonna make you dinner!
Chandler: Hey, I hear that you and Joshua are going out to dinner with Ross and Emily, and I think thats, I think thats really cool.
[Scene: Later that evening at the rehearsal dinner. Chandler and Monica are sitting on a sofa. Chandler is covering his face in embarrassment because of the toast.]

Joey: Okay. Yeah. Listen would you uh, would you like to have dinner with me tonight?
[Scene: Monica and Rachel's, everyone has just finished Thanksgiving dinner and are groaning over their fullness.]
Dr. Green: This is nice. I pay two hundred dollars for dinner, you put down twenty, and you come out looking like Mr. Big Shot. You really want to be Mr. Big Shot? Here, Ill tell you what, you pay the whole bill, Mr. Big Shot, all right. (rips up the bill, and throws it at Ross, then leaves)
Ross: I've seen her at work, but I always figured, ah-huh? But, uh, I made her dinner. We had a great time. And we're going out again tomorrow.
[Scene: Monica, Chandler, and Phoebe's, Monica and Chandler are returning from dinner, Rachel is already there.]
Rachel: Well what happened at dinner?
Monica: (trying to change subjects, excitedly) So! Dinner in the kitchen around four! Ill see you then. (Pats Chandler on the shoulder and goes into the living room.)
Rachel: Oh, wait yes, but I cant eat too much. Paul is taking me out to dinner tonight, he said he has a big surprise planned.
[Scene: Monica, Chandler, and Phoebe's, Monica is setting the table for dinner as Chandler enters.]
Ross: Oh, nothin much. Just trying to figure out what Im gonna do for dinner.
Monica: Well, I�ll tell you what we�re gonna do: We are already late for Phoebe�s birthday dinner, so you point out put out that cigarette, we�re gonna put this fight on hold and go have sex.
Ross: (notices the table) HeyOoh! Whats-whats that, dinner stuff? You making dinner?
Ross: Once Monica was sent to her room without dinner, so she ate the macaroni off a jewelry box shed made.
Chandler: Okay, but if you can't no dinner!
[Scene: A Restaurant, Monica and Chandler are having dinner with her parents.]

Phoebe: Oh, I have dinner plans with Joey. We get together about once a month to discuss the rest of you guys.

Ok, you've already proven you are just as good as he is, now we've missed our dinner reservations, so now let's just go upstairs, order room service, take a shower and shave your head!
Monica: (on phone) Okay, great! Bye. (Hangs up as Chandler enters.) So guess whos coming to Thanksgiving dinner?
Joey: Man, Im starving! What the hell was I thinking at dinner?! "Do you want soup or salad?" Both! Always order both!
Melissa: Listen, we-we have to have dinner. What-what are you doing tomorrow night?
Melissa: You do now. Youre having dinner with me.
(Joey sticks his head through the gap. Monica and Chandler are now sitting at the dinner table. There is another smaller table full of food standing in front of the front door)
Rachel: Oh, yknow what? I cant. I have to have dinner with that Melissa girl.
[Scene: Monica and Chandler's, Monica is standing in the kitchen ready to leave for the rehearsal dinner.]
Rachel: All right, yknow what? If you dont want to believe me about this, why dont you just come with me to dinner tonight and she will tell you.
Phoebe: Or! I should rush through dinner with Joey and I can meet David at 9:00!
Monica: Wait! Wait! Wait! You cant start today! Todays the rehearsal dinner!
Phoebe: Thank you. (To Gunther, who's standing there frozen) Okay, go! Go! Go! (He runs off.) (To Larry) Now, if after dinner you still really need to bust someone, I know a hot dog vendor who picks his nose.
ROSS: OK, got the music, got the dinner. Oh and check it out, I made Marcel's favorite dish, banannacake.
Rachel: I know. I always thought if you and I got married, it would be the one that stuck. And it wouldnt be a secret, and we wouldnt have our wedding dinner at Pizza Hut. (They both laugh.)
Monica: Hey how was dinner?!
Phoebe: Dinner was good!
Joey: (To Rachel) Okay, let me just get changed and we can go to dinner.
Ross: This-this is crazy! I can do this! All right, uhh, I bet I can get all 50 before dinner.
[Scene: Joey and Rachel's, Joey and Ross are having dinner.]
Rachel: Im having dinner with my dad tomorrow night, do you wanna come?
[Scene: The Restaurant, dinner has ended and Phoebe and Rachel are talking. Dr. Green is not at the table.]
[Time Lapse, dinner has ended for everyone except Joey who looks like to have finished the turkey, until he turns the plate around and reveals he only ate one side.]
[Scene: Hillarys apartmen,. Hillary and Ross are having dinner. He is avoiding opening his mouth.]
Joey: This is so unfair! The one thing I wanted to do was throw my best friend a bachelor party, but no, I wasnt allowed to. All I got was a stupid steak dinner!
Monica: Okay, dinners ready!
Phoebe: So how did this happen? Did she, did she lure you to an early bird dinner?
Doug: Oh well, give it time. So the divorce, the marriage, weve got a lot to celebrate. How about we all go out to dinner tomorrow night?

Chandler: Can I just say how much I appreciate you coming with me. When we get to Tulsa I'm taking you for a great dinner at 'Slim Pickings'. 'So Cheesy'? 'Whole Hog'? It's going to be tough to keep Kosher in Tulsa.

Monica: Yeah Joey shes Rachels got this really big work problem, and it is a head scratcher. Wow! (To Chandler) Yknow what, if were gonna make dinner were gonna have to leave. Yeah. (She and Chandler exit.)
